Our Approach
Listening
Lawyers love to talk, but at Wolff Law, listening comes first. For us, listening means letting go of preconceptions and exploring what our clients really need. We listen so we understand our clients’ objectives from the start. No wasted time. No inflated costs. Just results that match our clients’ expectations.
Listening isn’t just how we start a client relationship. It’s how we maintain it for the long term.
Understanding
Lawyers who solve problems without really understanding them are like drivers navigating an unfamiliar city without a road map. They might eventually reach their destination, but they’ll waste time and energy in the process.
We don’t waste our clients’ time driving in circles. We make sure we understand where our clients want us to go and how to get there. And we make sure our clients understand us too. (It’s a two-way street, after all.) We show them the road map before we start doing the work. We answer questions in understandable non-legalese. We explain the law, examine issues from multiple perspectives, and help our clients understand how to anticipate the obstacles to and consequences of the work we do for them. In partnership with our clients, we make sure we know where we’re going and that we get there together.
Resolving
There’s more than one way to resolve a dispute, and we strive to find the approach that best fits our client’s needs. Whether it’s a non-monetary trade, an assignment of rights, or a novel negotiation, we prioritize finding a resolution that saves our clients time, stress, and money, provides them with an optimal outcome, and helps avoid future disputes.
